 The Navy wants to build a landing field for supersonic jets near Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Washington County where 30,000 take offs would occur disturbing over 100,000 waterfowl.

North Carolina's Senior Senator, Elizabeth Dole, could put a stop to it.
